Hopetoun Park

Re-training

Hopetoun Park is a 4-year-old chestnut gelding by Impending from a Testa Rossa-line mare, recently retired from racing and beginning his next chapter with us at Moonlight Lodge. With 14 race starts and over $10,000 in prizemoney earned, he comes to us with a solid education and plenty of life experience already under his belt. Now it’s time for him to learn a whole new career beyond the track. We’re excited to get to know this handsome boy as he settles into retraining life, building confidence and introducing him to the foundations of pleasure riding, jumping and life as an allrounder horse. We can’t wait to share his journey with everyone.

She Mine

Spelling and recovery

She Mine is a beautiful tall thoroughbred mare by Pride Of Dubai, recently arriving at Moonlight Lodge to begin her life beyond racing. Athletic, elegant and kind natured, she has all the qualities we love to see in a future performance and pleasure horse. After racing, She Mine will now enjoy some well-deserved downtime while she recovers from a minor tendon injury. Her rehabilitation and long-term soundness will be our priority over the coming months, giving her the time she needs to let down, relax and adjust to life away from the track. Once she is ready, we’re excited to begin her retraining journey and see where her future takes her — whether that be as a pleasure horse, jumper or allrounder partner. For now, she’ll be enjoying paddock life, plenty of care and a slower pace while she settles in with us.

Magic Game

Re-training

Magic Game is a stunning thoroughbred mare beginning her retraining journey with us at Moonlight Lodge, and we are incredibly excited about this girl’s future. By Magic Albert (sire of 2nd place 2026 Magic Millions Showjumping) and carrying the influential Encosta De Lago bloodline. Her pedigree brings together versatility, trainability and natural athleticism — qualities that often transition beautifully into sport horse careers after racing. Now stepping into life beyond the track, Magic Game is settling into retraining as we slowly introduce the foundations of her new career. We’ll be focusing on building strength, confidence and relaxation while giving her time to adjust to a completely different lifestyle. We’re especially excited to see how this mare develops over fences in the future and can’t wait to share her journey with everyone.

Brave Deel

Re-training

Brave Deel is a very cute, smaller type thoroughbred by the outstanding Dundeel, a sire well known for producing athletic, intelligent and versatile horses with exceptional movement and rideability. With his compact build, kind expression and quality bloodlines, he already has us excited for his future beyond racing. During his racing career, Brave Deel earned over AUD $19,000 in prizemoney while gaining valuable experience both on and off the track. Now retired from racing, he’s settling into the quieter lifestyle at Moonlight Lodge as we begin introducing the foundations of retraining. We think his smaller stature, balanced movement and inquisitive nature could make him a fantastic prospect for someone wanting a sporty and fun allrounder, pleasure mount or jumping partner. We’re looking forward to sharing his journey as he adjusts to life after racing and discovers a whole new career.
